Available is a stunning 65mm carving knife made from ancient Suffolk yew 
 
Blade: Handforged blade in the USA by an experienced bladesmith from 01 tool steel and is 65mm long with a scandi grind 
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of yew from Suffolk. The trim is bog oak and has been dug up from the bogs of Lincolnshire & carefully kiln dried. Carbon dating shows it to be 5000 years old.
 
There is an added piece of brass lanyard tubing in the handle and this also comes with a length of 1.2m handcut leather thonging
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a traditional handstitched leather blade slip or sheath is available as an option or contact me for further sheath options.
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and tung oil/ Linseed oil wax.
