Available is a stunning 40mm carving knife made from English yew
 
This knife is on offer because i accidentally dulled the tip whilst making it, see photos.
 
Blade: O2 carbon steel. Hardness: 60hrc ±1. Blade length: 40mm. Blade thickness: 2,5mm
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of English yew from Suffolk. Additional trim includes ancient bog oak. Carbon dating has aged these bog oak trees at 5000 years old
 
The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
 
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
