Available is a stunning 88mm carving knife made from rock solid old oak
 
Blade: Blade: O2 carbon steel.  Hardness: 60hrc ±1. Blade length: 88mm. Blade thickness: 2,5mm

Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of oak taken from a branch of a tree reportedly mentioned in the the Domesday book from a village in Suffolk. Additional trim include 5000 year old black bog oak, yellow box wood and orange coloured English yew.
 
Additional trim includes jet black East Anglian fens bog oak. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC. Other layers include spalted beech and beech both from Thetford Forest. The rear of the handle is buffalo horn and brass pin
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather slip. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process
