Available is a stunning 100mm carving knife made from jet black 5000 year old bog oak
 
Blade: Blade: O2 carbon steel.  Hardness: 60hrc ±1. Blade length: 100mm. Blade thickness: 2,5mm

Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of jet black East Anglian fens bog oak. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC. Other layers include spalted beech from Thetford Forest
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather slip. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process
