Blade: Hand forged by Nic Westermann edge 25mm x 1.6mm x 8mm

A blade suitable for fine detail carving as well as chip carving, the delicate tip means that it excels at curved, flowing designs. Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of ancient bog oak from the Norfolk fens. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC. Additionally, spalted beech from Thetford Forest

The handle has been treated with my own blend of beeswax and tung oil

Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather slip. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process
