Available is a stunning handcrafted Ash & Axe knife with a 50mm blade
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of 5000 year old bog oak dug out as a massive tree trunk from the lincolnshire fens. The timber has been quarter sawn and slowly dried resulting in this beautifully textured piece of wood. 
 
To make it an even more ancient knife sections of wooly mammoth tusk over 10,000 years old have been spliced in.
 
Blade- The blade, made by Beckwith Forge in the USA, is made from O1 tool steel and is 50mm in length. This is a fantastic short little blade with many uses.
 
Leather: The knife is being sold as knife only but sheath options are available:
 
Sheath- leather sheath with belt loop.
 
Blade slip- handstitched leather sheath to cover the blade.
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and Norfolk Linseed oil wax.
