Handle: The handle is crafted from a piece of 5000 year old jet black bog oak from the East Anglian fens with additional trim of yew from Suffolk
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather sheath with belt loop and dangler. The leather is hand cut from the whole hide, moulded and then stitched by hand with a thick tan coloured thread using the saddle stitch technique for extra strength.
 
The leather for the sheath set is made from a stunning vegetable tanned buffalo hide in a dark oak colour
 
The fittings are solid brass.
