Available is a stunning 65mm rustic carving knife made from stunning English elm, mammoth tusk insert and damascus blade.
 
Blade: The blade has been designed by Ash & Axe and handforged across the pond in the USA by an experienced bladesmith from 15N20 and a1095 steel core made up of 200 layers and is 65mm long to create a stunning damascus blade
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of elm from the Suffolk countryside  with additional piece of elm and 5000 year old bog oak as trim.
 
In the rear of the handle has been inserted a disc of wooly mammoth tusk over 8000 years old. The insert has been cut from the outer part of the tusk known as the bark so it would have been in direct contact with its surroundings thousands of years ago!
 
There is also the addition of a piece of solid brass lanyard tubing and length of hand cut leather thonging
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather blade sheath
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and tung oil/ Linseed oil wax.
