Available is a stunning 65mm damascus carving knife made from stunning English elm burr
 
Blade: The blade has been designed by Ash & Axe and forge welded across the pond in the USA by an experienced bladesmith from 15N20 and 1095  steel core made up of 200 layers and is 65mm long giving the blade a stunning patternation and mirror finish cutting face.
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of figured English elm from Norfolk with additional dark black bog oak from Lincolnshire and splated beech from Cambridgeshire
 
The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather blade slip or a sheath is available as an option or contact me for further sheath options.
