Available is a stunning 35mm carving knife made from ancient Suffolk yew 
 
Blade: Handforged blade in England by an experienced bladesmith from 01 tool steel and is 35mm long with a scandi grind
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of yew from Suffolk. The trim is bog oak and has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
 
Additional trim includes spalted beech from Cambridgeshire and English oak from Norfolk
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a traditional handstitched leather blade slip or sheath is available as an option or contact me for further sheath options.
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and tung oil/ Linseed oil wax.
