The leather is a full grain Italian vegetable tanned leather. Vegetable tanned leather uses natural tannins from plant sources, resulting in a more eco-friendly and traditional tanning process.
 
The bookmark also comes with leather cord made from wild Fallow Deer from the alps. The leather has been hand stamped with the Ash & Axe logo and comes in a brown presentation box
