Available is a stunning 83mm petroglyph bladed knife

Blade: Forged by Maihkel Eklund in Sweden from carbon steel UHB20C including Etsat hunting motif 83 x 18 x 3.4 mm

Maihkels blades come with a secondary micro bevel to protect the blade edge

Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of old English oak from the roof of Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk. The timber was reclaimed during the roof restoration and was in situ for hundreds of years.

Additional trim includes jet black East Anglian fens bog oak. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC. Other layers include spalted holm oak from near the sea in North Norfolk

In the rear of the handle has been inserted solid brass lanyard tubing

Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather slip. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process

There is the option to upgrade to a full sheath set with belt loop sheath and dangler with brass fittings
