Available is a stunning 40mm carving knife made from red stag antler

Blade: Blade: O2 carbon steel. Hardness: 60hrc ±1. Blade length: 65mm. Blade thickness: 2,5mm
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of red stag antler from the forests of Suffolk with Norfolk cherry and ancient bog oak trim.
 
The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
 
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
 
To the rear of the handle has been attached a piece of buffalo horn held with two brass pins.
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather sheath set including a red deer and bog oak keyring
