Available is a stunning English spalted beech carving knife
 
Blade: The blade has been designed by Ash & Axe and handforged across the pond in the USA by a bladesmith from 01 tool steel and is 30mm long
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of ancient English beech from Cambridge with 5000 year old Lincolnshire bog oak and additional spalted beech trim.
 
Unlike the majority of my knives this one has not been oiled so as to maintain the beautiful contrasting colours. However, a tin of wax is included if you so wish to wax the handle.
 
Leather: The knife is being sold as knife only but a handstitched leather blade slip is available as an option
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and tung oil/ Linseed oil wax.
