Available is a stunning spalted beech carving knife
 
Blade: Made from 1095 tool steel and hand forged into a unique shape wich engages better with the wood. These are sharpened (flat grind) and are ready for use. Blade length: 60mm 
 
The spalted beech handle is beautifully figured and felled from an ancient Cambridge beech tree. The trim is formed from buffalo horn and In addition there is a brass lanyard loop insert.
 
The knife comes with a custom fitted handstitched leather blade sheath. The leather is a thick full grain veg tanned shoulder in walnut and is stitched using a saddle stitch in a red thread colour. The knife comes with a a thick long length of leather cord.
 
To help keep your handle in good condition there is included a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and Norfolk Linseed oil wax.
