Handle: English spalted beech from Cambridgeshire. 
 
Blade: Designed by Ash & Axe and hand forged in England by Richard at Crafts & Tools. Forged from 1075 +cr steel and sharpened to a full scandi grind and hand polished for a mirror sheen. A beautiful all round blade.
 
Leather: The knife comes with two sheaths. The first sheath is a slip on blade protector hand crafted from thick shoulder of leather in a warm tan colour and stitched by hand using a tan coloured thread and a sadlle stitch.
 
The main sheath is designed so that the knife and knife plus blade protecting sheath will fit inside the main sheath. This sheath is also crafted by hand from tan coloured leather and stitched with a tan waxed thread.
 
The sheath also comes with a belt dangler handstitched in matching leather and a brass snap hook cast in England. All the leather has a black edging applied.
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and Norfolk Linseed oil wax.
