Knife blade: Hand forged Fawcett blade by Nic Westermann. A spoon carving blade forged from round stock, concave on the inside for easier sharpening and more accurate edge geometry, convex outside for smooth hollowing. The shallow curve on this blade means that very smooth finish is possible, as these blades cut so smoothly cuts can usually made in and out of the spoon bowl. 
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of Spalted beech from Cambridgeshire
 
Sheath: The knife comes with a leather blade sheath
