Knife blade: Blade approx 40mm x 20mm x12mm. A spoon carving blade forged from round stock, concave on the inside for easier sharpening and more accurate edge geometry, convex outside for smooth hollowing. This blade has a smaller radius hook than the Finishing blade meaning that very small or deep spoons can be easily carved. This blade will also cut larger spoon bowls, it is very easy to make the cuts but the finish will not be so smooth as with the larger blades, used this way it is ideal for children or beginners.
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of English yew with both tone colours from Suffolk. Turned on a lathe at approx 35cm long but can be cut down to size if preferred
 
Sheath: The knife comes with a leather blade sheath
