Available is a stunning 25mm spoon carving knife made from stunning yew burr
 
Blade: The blade has been hand forged in Portugal by Belzeboo. Nice small hook blade for a multitude of carving projects.
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of yew burr from Suffolk countryside with additional 5000 year old bog oak from the  Lincolnshire fens
 
The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
 
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
 
To the rear of the handle has been inserted a piece of brass tubing to allow the included piece of leather thonging to be inserted and act as a neck knife for woodland excursions.
 
Leather: The knife comes with a leather blade cover
 
To help keep your handle in good condition the knife includes a tin of Ash & Axe organic Cambridge beeswax and tung oil/ Linseed oil wax.
